To smoke DMT is a political statement

Migrated topic.

Well if it is a political statement, then it must also be a religious statement, and a statement about culture in general. Because it is not only 'politics' that is left at the door, i assume.

Yeah i totally agree, but i think that the link between psychedelics and everyday life (as a natural political practice) is commonly dismissed in favor of other supposedly more relevant aspects. The religious practice is in itself a subversive practice if the sacrament is declared illegal by a dominator institution. If DMT opens a communication with the divine, yet you get canned if found with some spice by the cops, then is a problem of individual freedom and civil rights.

Now, what happens to you after god starts talking to you though the DMT experience?

Or when god starts talking to you after any other experience. What happens is that you keep it to yourself and try to not kill anyone.

Or you go and try to share that experience with the people you love. If you can potentially be declared insane, criminal, corrupt, and be fucked for life because of this act of love, then i think it gets political in any sense we may want to give it. It is one clear important aspect of the dmt experience, as is the religious.

I didn't know that, could you link a few reports please ?

First of all, here is one from my peruvian friend:

Then:

They all have a different angle.

I also remember that 69ron repeatly told the forum that he was a strict atheist before he got changed by dmt (psychedelics?) and that he now totally believes in god because he was shown things he could not know.

I might very well be dead wrong but it seems to me that people in these reports called "God" what was just beyond their understanding.
Entities have tricked me so many times I wouldn't take their claims for granted, and after all "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"
(which can also be understood as "Any sufficiently advanced being is indistinguishable from god" ).

First I would like to say excellent post. I would like to disagree a little and feel free to counterpoint if I am not seeing this clearly. IMHO any man/woman put in the position of power would be corrupted absolutely. like the politicians we currently have exploiting the masses to line the pockets of their respective puppet-masters on either side of the aisle like we have today. The demonization of naysayers. While I struggle with my own self to achieve the elusive enlightenment I do see the mess we have created in our culture of greed, depravity and base defilers. I despise politics and the only thing i can see that would change it is a true universal enlightenment. Wondrous would the world be if we all were devoid of ego. That being said if you do decide to undertake a passive anarchy of truth to live in a world of community and love I would gladly sit next to you and be ground into oblivion under the boot heels of the greedy. People who would destroy truth for a pair of Diesel jeans and a gift certificate to Morton's steakhouse.
