To smoke or not to smoke?

That is the question...

I had my tonsils out on the first and was told on my last visit in hyperspace that I should do the sychro-hyper-event but I'm really worried about my throat.

I'm looking for information online about tonsils and the healing process about when smoking is ok. Any advice?

At least two weeks but should be longer,
I went through it, sucks bad but worth it.
If you take some pain killers you can handle the pain, there will not be long term damage for a once only. I wouldn't recommend more than that for at least 3-4 weeks.

Oh I see date now you have 8 days, I would just dose up on pain killers and give it a go.
Cannot see long term damage from one time.
It will be a bitch for you to smoke unless you heal fast.

Yeah, just 8 days... kinda sucks. I'm still a bit on the fence, but I really want to do it. Thanks for the reply! I may just give it a go! ;-)
