I'm surprised I'm the first one to post this.

I recommend watching the whole video. It will probably surprise you.

Yes, there are many complications ahead with capitalizing off of a relatively rare plant, but I think this is a major step forward, overall.

Trump does listen sometimes, when it feels right in the moment, and Joe Rogan seemed to seize that moment.

Notwithstanding the mighty effort of academics and scientists who have been pushing hard for this, my guess as to why no one posted a video showing the current POTUS would be the idea that this thread could turn into a Political :poop: Storm.

*I'm restraining myself now if I'm being very honest*

My hope is that this is a further step to help millions of people across the world and help to change the minds of more Governments that illicit drugs aren't all bad.

Reminder that political discussion is not allowed in the Nexus: No politics

While everything can be politicized, it is the responsibility of each and every individual to practice temperance in how they make sure to avoid and "dance around" anything that may have a political tinge and to make sure to avoid adding political discourse. Sometimes the mention of something that tends to have a political association/connotation cannot be avoided, in which case members are now encouraged to abstain from engaging with such information in a political manner (e.g. don't mention what party is doing what, what politician or political party has what agenda, over-generalizations about government and governing bodies, who's lobbying to do what where, etc).

I don't believe this thread currently fulfills the above requirements, as there's a mention of a given politician in both the title and the post itself. E.g. whether Trump sometimes listens or not is not a topic of discussion fit for the Nexus. The focus also seems to be on a video instead of on the new executive order and its possible implications.

Questions related to current or desired drug legislation can be discussed while being careful to not make them openly political. This thread, however, is about a specific policy and seems to be focused on the individual signing it and a video of the PR act put on for the occasion.

For these reasons, I'm locking it.
