It's a field.
I've got two questions, here's the first one:
I arrived in hyperspace tonight, to find that the air tasted as if it were permeated with salt. Like ocean air, but WAAAY more salty.
Has this happened to anyone else?
The other question is a sort of philosophical one:
I know many of you believe that our hyperspace experiences are essentially a reflection of our own individual interiors, representing and determined by our own minds. (as opposed to being a bona fide dimensional reality.)
From within the context of this perception, what in your opinion does it indicate that hyperspace for me is pretty much unpopulated -- I never meet any entity, intelligence, being, and, alas, no machine elves.
Thanks!

I always silently say, thank you for the air, because I feel exactly the same, that it is vivifying and salutary. (if you'll forgive the somewhat victorian turn of speech. Hmm, I think those concepts have faded somewhat in our modern society -- "robust," "empowering," "healthy" --- they're just not quite the same thing.)
