UK PPL found wicked electric bark grinder!

Hi all,

Though some of you UK people might find this useful so here it is!

SWIM found an electric herb grinder in Argos for about 15 quid, only has a small capacity but it is THE BUSINESS and going through shredded mhrb, it will pulverise a kilo in less than 30 mins. Check it out if you are sick of blenders exploding on you.

Oh also it is small enough to pick up and wrap a cushion round while it grinds and you can barely hear it, which is another perk if you live with ppl who you don't share your lifestyle with.

Ha, in yet another hilarious twist of fate the little bastard died on me this morning! god rest his soul. to be fair I was overloading him a bit cos im lazy... think big bits still need to be reduced in size with shears. none the less here is a link to the item.

I tried using my blender afterwards but it was so loud I think they could hear it three doors down. if uv gotta do it on the sly i dont think there is a substitute for one of these puppies. with a cushion wrapped round it obviously otherwise it is loud as hell still!

^^I have one of these and it works well BUT it took me several hours to get 500g of bark powderised to the degree that we used to be able to get powdered MHRB at plus theres quite alot of fibre left over..If only they made one with a bigger capcity

Nevertheless, its superb for blitzing chunks of pedro or grinding up Vilca/Colubrina seeds:wink:
