Just wondering how you guys do this.

I also found a black solid layer on the inside, which I thought was a plastic. But it turns out that it was thr root bark burnt on. I let the grinder get far too hot.

I found there is a layer of powder almost welded to the inside of the grinder.✓i

i think in future you should just run grinder in short bursts/ then rest/cool and run another burst much better for your grinder and what ever grain or ? / your grinding
just an idea ...
.also i have no idea best way to remove the burnt plant goo

good luck

You could try whizzing it for a few bursts with anhydrous sodium carbonate as a mild abrasive, if the entire inside is stainless steel at least. If all that crust comes off, you can put it into an extraction.

👉 Beware of fine sodium carbonate powder, though!
👉 You do not want that in your eyes or airways!!
👉 Goggles and face mask strongly recommended!!!
