Understanding the emotional side of dmt?

Hi everyone

when I did dmt I experienced a very weird thing - As I was entering the trip - as soon as I smiled everything became brighter more colorful and cheerful. It was as if the accepting and happiness I put into the trip the more alive it became.

I first want to confirm if anyone else has experienced this?

Also- I have heard Terrence talk about the idea that hyperspace is like - these creatures or whatever they are called putting up a show just for you- as if they are saying - "look at this" he also says that is very similar to the feeling of
"being had' or deceived by these elfs.
Has anyone else had this experience?

I am interested in learning more about the emotional feeling people get when they are in these experiences.
Some people say they feel connected to everything or to the world or to a source of energy.

I am more interested in learning about the not so usual emotions.

thank y ou

It is commonly thought that performing different physical postures or expressions can change your real time brain chemistry. So that holding a smile 1 or 2 minutes will cue feelings of happiness in your brain. The same is true with holding power postures or stances. Perhaps that is akin to what you experienced happen. In which case, rock on!

I've noticed that a positive happy mindset is
The absolute best starting point to launch .
Part of my own process usually involves coaxing
Myself to a state like that beforehand . My normal
Everyday set is not always happy and light so sometimes
It takes some alchemy to get to the starting gate.
There is a certain sweet spot of mindset that is optimum
For the best kind of experiences. Sometimes for me
Remembering what that is is half the work.
I would express that starting point as :
happy , light , not too serious , trusting and open .
I would go further and say a beautiful sunny day out in
A scenic natural setting away from all man made objects
And other people , but that's just me .
Emotional experiences ? You better believe it .

Thank you, Felnik, for saving me the trouble of typing out everything I was just thinking! ... Except you probably did so in a much more eloquent manner.
