I've extracted an amount of DMT over the course of a couple months from MHRB using Q21Q21's tek with a yield that roughly matches what would be expected from the process, and so have assumed that the tek has had the predicted successful results. I tested the yield from the first set of pulls at the beginning of this alchemical journey and experienced the expected results - a short, fairly intense trip that matches my previous experience with a low dose of DMT which has been sprinkled over some marijuana and smoked from a water pipe. However, last night I repeated this test from the container in which I store the accumulated spice and was blindsighted by an unexpectedly intense trip that lasted about an hour. The experience was extremely similar to a changa experience, which is by far the most powerful and revelatory psychedelic experience I have ever had, but more powerful, more coherent, and twice as long. After 15 minutes of increasingly potent effects I was frightened I had made some mistake and had ingested an unknown substance with unknown effects and consequences. The trip was a solid hour with about another hour of a powerful and pleasant afterglow. I was hoping someone could shed some light on what happened, here, as this is not the predicted result from taking this substance and I am not sure what the hell I'm working with any more. I had also taken a fair amount of ketamine before this impromptu experiment, which may have potentiated the experience, but I simply do not know. Does anyone have any insight as to what might explain this phenomenon?
