Rising Star
After a recent tek some friends and I had an interesting discovery. After a few days of naphtha evap we obtained 500mg of dry, waxy crystalline product and sat down to enjoy. We combined it into one ball to avoid variations in potency across the dish. For two friends it was their first journey and they only had our anecdotes and the research I made them do prior; the other had done it with me before and knew roughly what to expect. Oil burner was used, proper vaporization technique was used, and it had been months since we had journeyed last.
Me: no other drug use
T=0:00: Loaded 60mg to be safe, three huge consecutive hits with no effects until the final one. I immediately got a heavy body load, euphoria, closed eye visuals of twisting and transforming colors that changed from a ribbon to waterfall to jungle to a candle. The color scheme was like one of those black, heat sensitive drawing boards. And when the candle went out my head felt like it was made of melting wax.
T=0:05: I stood up to get water and sat back down due to extremely heavy but pleasant body load. Everything quieted, stared at a piece of string next to my friends foot. He was tapping his foot and suddenly I felt frozen and his foot stopped moving, but I then realized I could hear his foot still (this phenomenon happens every time for me).
T=0:15: All effects were gone except lingering euphoria
Friend (1st time): smokes weed and cigarettes, dips, on an SSRI
T=0:00: Loaded 40mg to be safe, I coached him and held the lighter and pipe, he had good form. Only took one hit, pupils went from 0 to 100 almost instantly, covering his iris. Had a look of awe, and was verbally unresponsive for about 30 sec.
T=0:01: Looked at me and asked if I saw the people by the TV, he saw three figures standing next to our unplugged TV which appeared as a glowing portal, and they were beckoning him into it. I believe he would have broken through if he had taken a 2nd hit after the 1st.
T=0:04: Colors of certain objects including our black couch were inverted, and he said his apartment seemed dirty and disgusting.
T=0:05: He started to panic a bit so I calmed him down.
T=0:10: Visuals gone
T=0:15: All effects gone
Friend (1st time): smokes weed and cigarettes, dips, drinks heavily
Similar experience to other friend except much more spooked. Hasn't wanted to talk about it and doesn't want to do it again.
Friend (experienced): smokes weed occasionally, drinks occasionally
T=0:00: loaded 60mg, was confused by my level of effects, same hits, proper form. Only experienced heavy body load. Seemed even heavier than mine. No other effects.
T=0:20: Effects gone
We chalked this up to tolerance at the time, but in hindsight that doesn't make much sense, and we can't think of what might have gone wrong to have such a disparity in effects from the same product?
I'll continue the experience report of what happened later in the week in a second post.
