Yea it can make your lips go numb when using the lightbulb method, also different ways of vaporizing can produce this effect.

It feels like you just inhaled radioactive waste fumes, i can't smoke DMT like that, there's no way, it ruins the trip, cause all i do is thinking; "ghaaaa, this stuff burns, i want it to stop", so i can't enjoy the trip at all.
