Washing Spice freebase

Hi all, this is my first actual post here.
I have some fluffy whitish extract got using A/B with petroleum ether from MHRB.
I have tried smoking it but it is quite harsh and I would like to clean it a bit.
Could I use cold petroluem ether to wash it, keeping the residue?
What other solvents would be better.

DMT, even clean is not know for being pleasant to smoke.

Of course from SWIM's experience after 3-4 times you get used to this

SWIM wants to note that he only smoked DMT, no weed, no cigarettes and SWIM is getting used to the taste.

Enjoy your trips, and tough it out. If it is white it should be good... :p

Will try the sodium carbonate wash next time.
Since starting this thread I gave it another go with the last of my stuff and had somewhat more effects.
Still no real breakthrough though.
