Yes, liquid culture is a great thing to work with :thumb_up:

I've had good luck with light corn syrup for LCs... the important thing is to test it out on a small batch of cakes before committing it to many jars of grain.

I use 1 tsp of syrup to about 12oz of water.

You really can't beat it unless you move to agar work.
 
i have tried LC with non-organic honey, raw sucrose, and refined sucrose.

all three worked fine.


i am sure corn syrup, organic honey, and malt+dextrose would all work just as fine.

Interesting, for me it was exactly the other way around. Plus my myelium grew a lot faster in malt+dextros. Perhaps I PCed the honey too long.
