weird color in Rue Extraction

Hi everyone

Im trying to extract Harmala alkaloids
and im using Harmalas Extraction and Separation Guide from the wiki

after the second Base part(after the salt participate and drying )
I redissolved it in hot vinegar and water and filter it through 2 coffee filters
and the color changed from very light brown powder [ihttps://unsee.cc/1d6673c2/][/img] to some neon https://unsee.cc/7e49f99a/ glowing green

so i wander if i should keep with the process or discard everything and start again from scratch
