It seems that in the US vm+p naptha is the standard. And is found everywhere. While it is tried and true you should still do and evaporation test to see that it leaves no residue or bad mojo behind. And If it turns your spice blue/green run for the hills.
Mind you I have ZERO experience with extraction so read the faq's and whatnot to confirm my noobish reply. (sorry for the sassy-ness)
I was wondering something similar. I've noticed that most brands of VM+P naphtha contains a lot of n-octane and a few like Kean-strip VM+P naphtha contains more hexanes and less n-octane.
