great question stan. i wish I had been more skilful in meditation, yoga, and knowing about and drinking teas like B Caapi (known as Ayahuasca vine) for protection and guidance and union before smoking DMT (or Lemon Balm, Mugwort, etc to name a few good plant spirits/teas.) They really work. When you drink B caapi before a trip, it helps; naturally, of course it does. I did not know, I thought it was a coincidence that the times I drank Aya and smoked enhanced lead or changa I saw Aya spirit manifest as a beautiful snake woman which imparts compassion, kindness, total knowledge, all love.
I wish I had known that it can not under any circumstances be used in a hurry or out of desire, excitement. It should always be a transcendental moment, deeply mindful always, at the perfect time/ set and setting, and to not diverge from the basic premise not once. In my oppinion, from 3pm to around sunset or 9pm is the best time to smoke. Then from around 4am to 6am (sunrise.)
I wish I had known that its better to smoke outside in the sun with plants and wilderness than it is in the bedroom, and that DMT smells terrible in a closed enclosure.
I wish I had known that joints of 200mg enhanced leaf (100mg DMT/100mg good fluffy herb) and some CBD cannabis (for taste and smell) with 30mg of harmalas on top spread throughout, with a good filter (ActiTube) is a very, very good deliviery method for a breathrough and should be smoked slowly and with reverence.
But more than anything, I wish I had known that I will never be able to have these experiences again, they are irrepetable, one of a kind, and should be cherished as such; having known this, I would have been more reverential, would have meditated more after each experience (would have used the experiences as an impulse into deep meditation and silence, would have basked in the silence for longer, would have basked in the alienness longer, because it ends and never comes back.)
