What does LSA degrade into?

SWIM has experienced 2 LSA extracts eventually go bad after about 2 years. It's seems that after 1 year it's fine, but at the 2 year point its very noticeably degraded into something else.

This degradation product (or products) produces a "too much coffee" effect on the nerves. You feel tingling sensations that are almost itchy sensations. They are not pleasant. You feel this all over your body, in your lungs, head, hands, everywhere. It's similar to the caffeine burnout effect you get from drinking way too much coffee all day long.

It's like once an LSA extract reaches 2 years old it's nearing the time to throw it out. It's still somewhat useful if you do an LSH conversion on it, but even then, the "too much coffee" effect is still there and pretty strong. It's not so pleasant.

Anyway, does anyone know what LSA degrades into? Is there a way to reverse this or prevent it?

One thing I thought I should add, SWIM has experienced this same "too much coffee" slightly itchy tingling effect from a few very old LSD blotters before. Does anyone know what causes that in some (but not most) old LSD blotters? Maybe it's related. The feeling is the same.

Two years, you say? SWIM did an extraction and got the feeling degradation from open air was almost immediate (i.e., in the time it took for the ethanol to evaporate the LSA had already begun to degrade). SWIM didn't use the tartaric acid. After scraping the pyrex, SWIM put the residue in the freezer, the residue is a brownish goop, but you say it will be fine, that it takes two years before it will break down?
