What does my trip mean?

I was alone and I was being pulled into a room that has a wallpaper exactly like the picture I drew and posted,, and people were mean to me and there were 2 clowns pulling me in by my arms, then I freaked out and woke up and puked, I'm honestly not sure what any of this means, last night was my first dmt experience and it was honestly terrifying. So I woke up this morning and decided that id try again and see if I can break through this time without being scared of everything, so I tried again this morning and when I breeched, I saw myself laying in bed while My spirit was floating away, and when I got far enough away I was laying next to this beautiful girl on a cloud and I looked over and it was my very recent ex, and I just gazed into her eyes the entire trip and I woke up and I was bawling. I'm sure all of this means something, but I'm not quite sure!

Just guessing here, but maybe something will perk your intuition.... I would really trust your own intuition around this more then what anyone says (including myself).

And before you read my guess, I hope you have thought of a few guesses yourself.... I dont want to put ideas in your head before you had a chance to explore your own intuition on the matter....

Maybe the first experience was related to you feeling unaccepted, or judged, or scared of what others think? (people laughing at you) Or maybe you feel stuck in-between two competing ideas or people or life directions? (clowns pulling your arms) That is what popped into my head first when I read the description.... Doesnt mean people are actually judging you or that you are stuck in-between two things, but maybe you feel that way?

With the ex.... Maybe you either just miss her, or maybe you feel like she hurt you or you her, and there is some unresolved issue there? Or maybe you just miss having someone and that is who popped up because it was recent?

What are your thoughts on the experiences? Did they seem to mean or suggest anything to you?

That's one aspect of what integrating the experience into consensus reality is about...

Allow the meaning to come to you in an unhurried, unrushed way. That might take a few days or a few weeks or sometimes it can take a long, long time depending upon an almost infinite amount of factors.

Meditate on it if you wish, that always helps in some way.

you can apply any type of meaning to the experience as you will never know what it really means, i tend to imply the most useful meaning i can to experiences that are not blatant in there meaning.

After all, when it comes down to it, nothing means anything at all & we, as humans, put meaning to experiences or phenomenon, as if it was our job.

:thumb_up: Completely! The reason I resonate with this is because of the comfort we find in identifying with ourselves in our surrounding environments.. with whatever is available to us. We attach meaning a lot of the time without even realizing it! Many 'things' don't necessarily need meaning, but simple recognition-observation. Meaning definitely affects our connection and cognition, but as with everything within our grasp, moderation and healthy motivation helps expand and balances our overall perception.

I think there is an old saying along the lines of "not everything needs to be touched.."

The emotions associated with a break up can be overwhelming. You stated she was a"very recent", so I doubt you are entering the hyperspace emotionally unburdened. Don't confuse the following statement to mean it has anything physiologically to do with dreaming, but DMT/( or other psychedelic) trips often face me with some of the same type of "feedback loops' of daily life that the dream state does. And since Im in this place where EVERYTHING is SO IMPORTANT, I take these loops at first to be something utterly profound and meaningful to the development of my perfect life but they aren't and don't.

Seperating the wheat from the chaff becomes the the first stage of the process of integration for me. Sometimes I feel that all the visual information and utterly alien sounds and whatnot are while incredibly fascinating and endlessly entertaining, distracting from the real work going on. Actually, I've come to also think that's the point with these DMT guys, they are all like :: "Hey,human! Lookit that shiny over there, don't pay attention to the surgery going on over here!"

I too consider it mainly like the issue of analyzing the regular dreams at night. Sometimes scrambled eggs, sometimes hitting value.

in order to make the most of your experience you could be asking yourself some questions that might assist you. Don't try to answer these questions here in the thread but rather meditate on them and other questions that can arise once you begin to analyze your trip. In my opinion it's not about finding an answer or a particular meaning anyway, it's about knowing yourself.

What were your feelings during the experience? Be elaborate and honest to yourself here.

Can you relate to the situation that happened - people being mean to you, or the feeling that that gave you? Does it remind you of some real life situation or real life fear, aversion or similar thing?

Do clowns have any specific meaning to you? Do you associate them with anything in particular? Did they feel like individual beings or part of a larger machinery?

How did you feel when they were pulling you - aside from afraid? Did you feel they wanted to harm you or help you or neither? Did you try to fight them? Why or why not?

They were pulling you in? What is in? Where is in? Did you get there? Or did you wake up before you made it in? Why did it make you freak out? What do you think is in there?

Go on with asking yourself questions about the experiences and you might unravel some mysteries about yourself. I highly recommend trying to write a much more elaborate account of your experiences than what you did here, for yourself. Just in the process of writing a lot of times we begin to realize the origins of certain feelings, if not blatantly obvious to begin with. Sometimes we'd rather not understand though, and writing and asking yourself questions can remove you from denial or make you see things in a new light. Good luck.
