Painting pictures with words
Hi all.
I'm a big fan of entheogens and have extracted extreme personal benefits from some. Although I have experience with a huge variety of drugs both entheogenic or not, I owe an extreme thank you to what power has been bestowed on a few in general, with regards to their contribution to my life.
1. Magic mushrooms. Most available to me. Least stigma from loved ones.
2. Mescaline. Mescaline did for me what I thought MDMA had done, but later realized mescaline was a far more powerful tool in stoking lasting change. I am not bashing MDMA, I love it although I don't use it anymore, just stating my experience comparing the two subjectively.
3. DMT. DMT has furthered my curiosity more than likely anything else ever.
Magic mushrooms I use a lot, and I usually have a great time in silent or instrumental darkness once a week or 2. Mescaline is longer prep and much less frequent. DMT is a bit of a new entry, but one I plan to pursue a lot more.
I visited DMT hyperspace essentially 4 times, twice by successfully hitting a lot, and twice by combining enhanced leaf and psilocybin.
For those truly interested in answering I would say more context can be extracted from yesterday's trip report than I could possibly write now:
But the gist is that I took a large dose of mushrooms that were more potent than I thought and ended up in hyperspace to the point where I became convinced that I'd somehow manifested an endogenous release of DMT. I was so convinced, but time and reflection have made me realize that I "simply"(nothing about it was simple) entered hyperspace by consuming enough psilocybin.
After that, I'm kind of in awe at the power of mushrooms again, and I'm of the opinion that vaped/smoked spice is "safer entry" into this realm than mushrooms because being that intense for that long, I can't imagine is the safest thing for one's sanity. As much as my experience was an expression of raw love and divinity, we live in a world where reality is based in pragmatism. Solipsism has no use and thus a psychedelic experience of extreme intensity can just as easily be interpreted in terrifying ways. So my conclusion is = shorter duration + more easily predictable reaction and dosage terms = DMT is a safer entry into hyperspace.
Nonetheless I'm curious as to if others (one commenter has) also have had "mushroom breakthroughs" that were characteristically very different to what mushrooms do normally, and if other drugs like LSD perhaps can also illicit comparable states?
My harm reduction tip: I don't condone overdoing mushrooms - where overdoing it lies is different for all. I also don't condone pushing the limits of substances of any kind in any way that is likely to cause harm or difficulty.
