What happens to DMT if it's vaporized at the perfect temperature?

So if DMT is heated at a temperature too high, it burns.

But what happens if its vaporized at the perfect temperature? Does it all just disappear and turn to gas?

How could it just disappear if it burns at high temps and turns to gas at lower temperatures? That doesn't make any sense.

Unless DMT crystals aren't just DMT crystals and theres some other molecule there.
 
In the same way that lighter fluid can evap without residue and leaves a residue when set a light. Vapourising dmt allows the molecule to be transported away without turning into something else.
 
Solid->liquid->vapor just like water ice->water->vapor at 100, no chemical reactions happen here just different physical states of matter
When temperature is too high dmt burns and a chemical reaction (combustion) occures
N,N-DMT + O2 -> H2O + CO2 + (some other compound/s that are not active) and maybe some dmt that happens to be at the right temperature..

Heating it at high temps causes combustion, or a degradation of the starting material. Heating at the "perfect temp" will only weaken the intermolecular forces, allowing the still intact DMT to become airborne or gaseous. This is all due to the molecules of DMT bouncing around at a higher rate, which allows them to be inhaled and ingested through the lungs.

but why can water not burn, but dmt can? For water the temperature can be as high as possible and it will always turn to gas. But dmt cant pass a certain heat or it burns. Why?
 
I'm pretty sure it's because water does hydrogen bonding. The IMF (intermolecular forces) are higher when a molecule can do hydrogen bonding. So the temperature at which it will start to disassociate is a lot higher.
 
If heated to much the molecule breaks apart. If heated just right it turns into a vapor with the molecule intact which is what you want.




All my trips were freebase DMT in my vaporizer.
I got a Flowermate with those OIL tanks.

Basically a container with cotton in it and little holes.

And I usually vaporize by preheating to 160°C then waiting to reach temperature.
Wait 1 minute. Drop the tank in. Increase temp to 210°C and start pulling. If my lungs are full I turn the vapo off. Then back on again after having held it in.

The pure FB vaporized is very subtle. You only notice it when your lungs start buzzing and a flowerlike smell and bitter taste is apparent. I think its the perfect way to get tripping. Its fast almost no setup (Dump FB DMT into the container heat and pull) and burning is kept to a minimum.

I managed to leave the cotton almost perfectly white most of the time. And if theres residue I think thats because my DMT is kinda yellowish and a bit oil contaminated.

The temperatures I choose are really high because I wanna boil it all away as quick as possible. 90°C would mean less burning but you never could get a real dose with it because it takes to long to evap it. If any of you guys have a Vaporizer I definetly recommend trying it out. Just start at a lower temperature and increase till you have smoke then pull and you are gone :p

He's right though. I also have had most of my experiences using FB DMT. I use a GVG though, and typically get a smooth draw so I recc using one. I don't know how specific you need to be with the temps though, a lot of it is just experience. Good luck, drop me a PM if you need any help.
 
General Heat shouldn't be sufficient to degrade water...To separate the hydrogen and oxygen from H20 requires electrolysis...you have two positive hydrogen ions and one negative oxygen ion, it's an electromagnetic attraction between these ions that holds the water molecule together, when electricity is introduced through electrodes, a positive anode and negative cathode, the ions will seek out the opposite charge, so hydrogen, which is positive will collect on the cathode, and oxygen, which is negative will collect on the anode...

To answer the question of "what happens to DMT when vaporized at the perfect temperature?"
...it efficiently becomes DMT vapor.
