Yay my post kinda blew up lol well I mean I guess I gotta do a lower dose next time I could mix nutmeg powder with lemon balm or with nitrous oxide.
You seem to have missed the
point about preparation, misunderstood
the part regarding lemon balm, and overlooked the
comment about quality of nutmeg.
The recipe i followed was from the threads on 'space cakes' or something like that
Hm, maybe you tried the "
Space Paste" recipe? I've tried the version shared by the infamous
@69ron and it works to a certain extent:
This is an interesting mix of legal herbs that is said to produce a very serious psychedelic trip. It's called "Space Jam" and "Space Paste". This recipe is all over the place with different names and even appears on Erowid.
4 parts nutmeg (ground from whole nutmeg)
4 parts almonds (soak overnight and rinse)
4 parts raw pistachios
2 parts cinnamon
1 part cumin
1 part tarragon
1 part oregano
1 part basil
1 part turmeric
1/2 part cayenne pepper
1/2 part black pepper
maple syrup (to taste)
Grind all the dry ingredients into a very fine powder. Add syrup and mix. About 2 tablespoons makes a...
You do have to follow the recipe to the letter, although substituting apricot kernels for the almonds also works, as does the addition of sprouted basil seeds.
Also...how much is a part? Do I go by weight or volume? Perhaps both?
Sounds intriguing though
To clarify this point, it works far better if it's made with the proportions by volume rather than by weight. My best formulation was without question a distilled double tincture - first soaking the ingredients which contribute significant volatile aromatic components in high proof ethanol, followed by a distillation, then making up the whole paste as per the recipe and using the distillate to produce a tincture from that. The product was a singularly pleasant liqueur, complementing all manner of other psychoactives ranging from absinthe to cannabis to mescaline and mushrooms. Judging from
@Thierr7's report, it would make a great adjunct to LSA/LSI seeds as well. That one's moving its way up my to do list
And again, DO NOT EAT THE POWDER! Do yourself a favour and start with good quality, whole 'nuts' as well - you may have to shop around a bit and have several tries before finding the ones with a pinkish tinge to their interior, and you'll only see this after cracking them open. If there's any sign of powdery yellow mould, do not use - discard those straight away (
aflatoxins!)
