What pH is required to dissolve the alkaloids back into solution after removing the base layer

Found a mention somewhere that after adding sodium carbonate the solution needs to have pH 10 to precipitate the harmalas.
Once the base layer is removed, what pH is required to re-dissolve the harmalas back into solution?

I would aim for ph 4.

Seconding that cos harmine starts to crash out even below pH 7.

I think that Loveall found out that with lower pH, some impurity precipitated together with harmalas in alkaline step will dissolve back into solution.
