What to freeze in??

Also (a little urgent) does the object you freeze your Naphtha in have to be glass? I have it in a plastic container in there currently.

glass makes it a lot easier to get the crystals out afterwards.
also if you use plastic, make sure it is not dissolved by the solvent you use

another reason to not use plastic for freeze...
when scraping the crystals to collect it is much easier to use a blade on glass,
if you use something sharp on plastic you obviously risk getting small pieces of plastic in your final product.
a nice square or rectangular glass baking dish with a tight-fitting cover is the way to go.
i use one from OXO - best i've ever tried.

Depending on the plastic, it could absorb impurities i it could also cause warping of your container, pyrex container glass would be best, HDPE plastic would say is safe with naphtha
