When do Morning Glories flower?

Last year I bought some very un-potent morning glory seeds, and after speaking to some people on forums determined that it was due to the time I ordered them, shortly before the time of year that they flower therefore the seeds I had ordered were nearly a year old and had spent plenty of time losing their potency.
But alas, I have forgotten when that was, and I can't find the post.
Could anyone enlighten me as to when the time is you really don't want to be ordering MGs?
And whether I'm good to get them now? (fairly sure but nice to be reassured)
Also then I can plan when to hopefully order the most potent ones, a month or so after the flowering period

AFAIK they do flower in August.

i always thought about growing one or two since they are legal und flower where i live (rare).
they are also very beautyfull.

Hey,

I live in zone 5 and the morning glories flower in late September to early October. By late Oct., if it hasn't heavily frosted, the seeds are ready to collect.
