I’ve been extracting on and off for 7 months, smoke it from a water pipe.
My recipe:
50g MHRB powdered
600ml distilled water
30g pickling salt dissolved into 100ml water
50g lye mixed with 100ml water
50ml 9% white vinegar. IMG_4843.jpegIMG_5271.jpegIMG_5896.jpeg
Sit for an hour.
Naptha 150ml warmed up
Mix in on and off 30 minutes
Extracting onto 2 pyrex dishes (speeds up drying for me)
Put in front of fan medium speed, 2 hrs later..ready 2 go.
Repeat 2-3x with 100ml of Naptha warmed each x.
The freezer takes to long and I get the same results either way.

If that's a list of the actions you take, in sequence, then have a re read, as I doubt there's any point adding vinegar immediately after lye and then leaving it for an hour as stated in your post. The lye would cancel out any acidic action by the vinegar immediately it was added. Personally I use the sequence: add water and vinegar to bark, leave for an hour, add lye solution, leave for another hour if shredded barknor move on immediately if powdered, proceed with pulls.

The downside of full evaporation is that you will end up smoking *all* of whatever impurity doesn't evaporate from *all* of the naphtha used, as opposed to only the proportion you'd find in the small amount of naphtha left after freezing and draining it off. So it depends on the purity of your NPS. Best harm reduction practice is to freeze precipitate as it is an extra purifying stage compared with full evaporation.

have fun!
