I have only smoked DMT a few times. It had been over ten years since my last experiment. I decided to try again this past weekend.

My first attempt with 30 mg was a no-go. Next a friend gave it a shot and had no problems breaking through. His journey lasted around 15 min. I waited till the next day and made an attempt with 60 mg. It took me to the room with the saturated walls and the very faint silhouette of a figure came and made some sounds but then it just fainted. There was no breakthrough and the whole experience lasted only a few minutes.

Both times I had this terrible taste in my lips but not until a couple minutes later. The second time it was much worse. It felt like my lips were swollen (which they weren't) and tasted really bad though I don't think there was anything on my lips cause washing wouldn't help. The second time it got on my tongue too. I think the spice numbs my mouth some. This lasted maybe 5 minutes.

The spice itself was very pure (almost white) and vaporized in a two liter bottle with tinfoil. I know this isn't much of an experience report but unfortunately there isn't much to tell. I was hoping maybe someone might have an idea...

Something isn't quite right here. My guess is you burnt the spice. Properly vaporized spice has a pleasant almost floral odour, and 60mg could easily have absolutely floored you unless your head is made of granite!

However, lack of detail in your report makes my comment virtually worthless speculation. Plus the Spice seems to have a way of doing things on its own terms, so to speak.

I'm inclined to wonder, where and how was your Spice obtained? What is your bottle made of? What has your mindset been in the lead up to this experience? What was the setting - down to the finest detail? What have you been eating? Have you been taking any other drugs or medications? All these are questions which seem to me to be worth asking oneself in such circumstances.

But really it sounds like a matter of honing your vaping technique. And improving your equipment (OK, this might be more tricky in the middle of the jungle).

There is an excuse for using "firangi materials" as roa, but not at all times, and perhaps not for a re-union....?

For example we would rather wait a couple months moar, so we could drink haoma from a raw (mate) gourd (which we ordered from Chile from a nice person who grows them) cause the gourd hasn't arrived yet.....

...so, perhaps the magick will return in force if they'd direct some resources on the roa device, perhaps even a GVG or GB?

If we was unsure, we would drink rue tea and throw away parcels of cannawitch in a violent motion towards the industrial wasteland :twisted:

I also fear the spice may be burning instead of being properly vaporized. Did you extract the spice? If not, it is always wise to do a recrystallization to get rid of any possible contaminants, just in case.

I would recommend switching up your vaping method to see if that makes any difference. Personally, I prefer changa from a standard 10in water bong designed for weed.

So I tried posting a more detailed report and the stupid thing had some kind of error and
nothing got posted. I'm gonna make a much shorter post now that I don't have much time.

The spice itself which was obtained from ACRB was almost pure white. We were camping on
top of a mountain in costa rica where you can see the capital and all the surrounding
cities. It was pitch black but the city lights were incredible. We meditate for a while
and prepare to smoke. I cut the bottom out of a two-liter bottle and replace it with 3
layers of tinfoil. D had never vaporized anything so has me help him do it. He takes two
hits and is gone for 15-20 min. Sometime in the middle of it he starts making some
growling noises and looks like hes clawing at something. Later he tells me that he was in
four different bodies and that in one of them he had claws. Some creature was coming at
him and sticking its claws into him. He said it felt like they were having sex.

I made my first attempt but had not breakthrough so I waited a couple hours and increased
the dose with no results again excep the terrible taste and numb/swollen feeling. It
could be possible that I burned it but I was being careful not to. Maybe there is a better
way?

My other thought was that maybe I've tripped too many times and it's just not gona work
anymore?

I had the same problem, in my experience I had to first vaporize a few rounds with just MAOI, then wait a few minutes and then the changa ( I find that it works better this way, even though the changa has plenty of both).

Also making a better vaporizer with decent heat regulation did wonders, it really was a world of difference in both comfort and potency.
