SWIM got his there. They ship it in a factory sealed vial. They are much more professional about their packaging than most other shops of that sort. Most other shops send you stuff in a zip-lock bag. I appreciate getting it in a sealed vial instead of a zip-lock bag. It's much easier to handle that way.
I don't think you can say that alkaloids are edible. Most alkaloids are classified as toxins. The plants Peganum harmala and Banisteriopsis caapi are not considered edible by most people. Likewise, Psilocybe cubensis is classified as a poisonous mushroom in most mushroom field guides. So I don’t think anyone selling any such product can say it is “edible”.
According to their site:
The impurities include small traces of the source plant material, and other non-toxic food grade solids used in the processing.
If you’re worried about there being small traces of harmine or harmaline in it, there probably is. It’s also likely got salt in it. Salt is very often used in extraction of harmala alkaloids.
I searched google for "solvents used in processing tetrahydroharmine citrate" and saw a cached page from their web site that said the following very clearly:
At no point are any harmful non-polar solvents used in the processing of tetrahydroharmine citrate.
