which song to take the plunge with

Migrated topic.
Tycho is really good because its so chill. I find psybient or psytrance to have too much going on and distracting for smoking Spice. On anything else, its awesome but low dose Spice and Changa is more meditative and I let really chill ambient music to float on.

Check out Tycho or some really deep house like Andrew Bayer or some downtempo mixes on youtube or soundcloud.

I love to melt. Sometimes I like to take a hit of spice like 5 to 10mg and do some basic yoga stretches. OMG does it feel go. So maybe some chilled out Desert Dwellers

I'm like some of the other's, when I'm going deep I like complete silence, sub break through doses I like music at a lower volume but I took this YouTube video converted to mp3 and looped it. Works well and seems to guide the trip. But the visuals are cool too, I think it's called "calling the others".

I found music dissociates me better and helps me forget about my body.

+1.

Unless it's sub breakthrough. I've listened to Bach like that, and it was nothing short of wonderful8)

Gas - Pop 3

except don't use the youtube version. Buy it on itunes and play it through some decent speakers.

This song is also great for meditating.

The only song i've ever listened to while i smoked has been comfortably numb by pink floyd.

I usually don't use music but that song is nice going in.
I came out in a circle of friends with a dubstep song playing one time & it almost seemed like the sounds in the song were controlling me. Causing particular movements & reactions with different tones & pitches.
It was strange. There was no music on while i smoked though & dubstep is not on my list of music to blast off to.

You should try "Nights in shining alma" by Shpongle. Works for me every time, mystic darkambient kind of sound... Have a nice journey :)

Chanting/Tibetan singing bowls; any of that kind of thing. Any type of music would be an external force affecting my journey, and I don't want that to happen. I listen to music afterwards but never during.
