Why do you do it?

haha, I suppose coming back from the infinite hyperspace to our planet Earth is enough to make anyone ask that. Granted, I'm not sure of the context of that other thread, but that's how I interpreted it here.
 
I once asked that question.

Now I laugh.

Of course this isn't all. Not that we get to experience much, but I take comfort that "god" wasn't boring, nor finite in his imagination.
 
I do these things because my instincts tell me that millenia of ethnobotanical shamanic tradition is more trustworthy than 100 years of propaganda and nonsense. In my overtly poetic opinion...this is the magic of fairytales which holds the mirror before the dragon, the teacher before the student, and the prodigal son before the path home.

Because one day a boy woke up from his "childlike" fantasies, most ungraciously, and realized we are but monkeys going out of control. Deppresion ensued, but the pressure grew, until the elves revivified that curious childlike spirit by reminding him of the childs rhyme, and showed him that the long told fairytale of old was real and alive within..and everywhere else really. And from then on he rowed his boat down that fucking stream with glee. Thats why i do dmt
 
To experience all that one can imagine, or to experience nothing at all. I believe every journey has its own reasons, rationale, and purpose. The better question to ask is why do you do it? If you know that answer it's all you need.

personally, I don't know what drives me to substances. I think its subconscious. Something in my head says, "hey, you should try this."
