Worried I didn't put enough salt in.

First time extraction.

Followed CYBS ATB tek for 50g of MHRB.

Foolishly poured 50ml out of the 150ml of the salt solution because thought it might be too much.

How will this effect the extraction?

You should be ok. Salt is not as important in fact. It can help to avoid emulsion and help to force dmt freebase from water to non-polar.
Many TEKs don't use it at all.

Although, I suggest following selected TEK to the point, if you are not sure what you do. After successfull extraction(s) you can start to tweak it.
