WOW WOW WOW!!!!

Esteemed member
I've recently been weaning myself off antidepressants; last Wednesday was my last dose; previously, I tried DMT and had terrific visuals but no breakthrough, which I suspected was because the SSRIs were blocking it. On Saturday, I had an opportunity to try DMT again, so I thought I would give it a 'blast' and see if I had more success.
My friend and I tried it. It was his first time, so he just tried 10mg to dip his toes in. We used a Vaporgenie glass Sherlock. It didn't do much for him. He said he felt slightly different, maybe somewhat stoned and relaxed; we didn't smoke weed. Later, he tried another 10mg in case we didn't vaporise it well, but he had the same response. He arrived after dinner, so I wondered if that was a factor, he did seem to enjoy the experience.
On the other hand, I had fasted for quite a few hours before. And because I had tried it before with a vape pen, I decided to try 30mg; it worked out at 32mg, and I went with that. I've been practising vaporising weed in the Sherlock, so I have gotten used to how it works. We played excellent music, and I had a great frame of mind, somewhat excited.
I've just been through three torturous years of intense cancer treatment, which I'm out the other side of, and now I find myself happy in random moments. I feel like cancer has been a great teacher; it's changed me immensely. I intended to be open-hearted to learn and grow with whatever was presented to me.
I exhaled fully while I heated the ceramic filter, and then I heated it slowly and inhaled a full lung very slowly. Then boom!!! I was hit with the strongest trip of my life; reality started to break apart, things became geometric, my friend looked like a Lego man, and then his face started turning, morphing into a wolf and other things. It kept building and I would say became very uncomfortable, I remember thinking wow, this is too much, I won't be doing this again soon. It wiped me out for a moment and I layed on the floor which made it easier to deal with, I'm very hazy as to what i remember, it felt like a lot longer that it was, my friend was timing it all and at this point I think I was only 1 minute in. The experience was very very intense, it was wild and uncomfortable, too much I would say and I'm a person who likes to take a lot of whatever drug I am on and always feel like I can handle a lot. This was next level, for sure. I don't think I broke through, but it felt like I was on the edge as my vision at that stage had almost totally changed.
My thoughts post-experience were that maybe I'm still affected by the SSRIs and need more time for my brain to adjust. I also think the GVG is bloody amazing! I tried to hit it again afterwards without filling it again, and nothing came out, so I vaporised the whole lot. Previously, I was using a vape pen, and it smelled way more unpleasant way this time, you could hardly smell it, it was very smooth. After 15 minutes, I was 'normal again', which was like an intense mushroom trip still, but 20 minutes later, I felt totally normal.
I think next time I'll try slightly less, maybe 20-25mg, until I'm sure my brain has adjusted to not being on SSRI, and perhaps I can get a bit more used to it; I do think I was trying to run before I could walk, I need to work my way up and iron out any issues. My other thought is that maybe I was just under on dose and needed a little more to put me over the edge; maybe 40mg would have got me there (but I'm not ready yet). If I had a vape pen ready, it could have worked with another hit, but would have been very hard to take. Loading up the GVG again wasn't going to happen.

I have a few questions:
What does an 'almost' breakthrough experience feel like, where you nearly breakthrough? Is it just like, "Wow, it's too much to handle, not enjoyable, and uncomfortable?" or can it be enjoyable when you get used to it? I'm just unsure if SSRI withdrawal has a part to play still.

Is microdosing a thing with DMT? The last time I tried it with a vape pen, I was outside on our deck during the day, looking at the trees and garden. The visuals were way stronger than the intense mushroom trips of the past, and the experience was very pleasurable. Can anything be gained/learned from micro-dosing, if it is a thing? Is it worthwhile?

Can I ask what type of profound things you have learnt from DMT and how has changed your life?

The feeling that I won't do this again for a long time has worn off, and now I'm excited to explore this medicine when I can.
Thanks Folks!

VAPAHUASCA - There’s a method that can help almost anyone have a better trip and not have to get their bravery up every time they want to try DMT. Years ago, before vaping was a thing when we smoked yellow crystals, we would “launch to the moon” and often scare the shit out of ourselves, as if a freight train of emotion came down on us.

What is a ‘Bad Trip’ and why is it usually associated with personal fears that the subconscious is focused on? Like the dark cave, Luke asks, “What’s in there?” The wise 900-year-old Yoda would say, “Only what you take with you.” When this happens, it’s intense, all at once, and dredges up your worst fears and anxieties, especially since we end up letting the next bowl we pack sit for weeks or months until we find the courage to face our fears once more. Sure, we had great experiences, but that one trip that shook you to your core makes you second guess your choice to dive into the deep end anytime soon. It’s like you become your childhood self, and the bully on the school bus de-pants you. It’s the anxiety that beats us, not the bully. But there are only a couple of ways to beat a bully. Instead of just diving in, you need that Rocky training montage before the big fight. This way, you’ll be able to adapt to your fears, and then that jerk won’t be anything but a big softy that you know and love. He’s a part of you and always will be, so you may as well get to know him.

When you freebase (smoke) DMT, the area of the brain, the DMN (Default Mode Network), is temporarily deactivated, and the brain reaches a state of neuroplasticity, becoming hyper-aware as 95% of your neurons become activated. But the typical DMT trip is brief and short-lived. To have a healing effect, short-cuts ayahuasca, more medicine, and more time for the medicine to work are required. Lower doses more frequently can accomplish this goal. Vaping for 30-45 minutes can change your life for the better.

THE SOLUTION is better than just a workaround; it’s how you’re going to prepare yourself and others, you introduce DMT to, especially newbies. I have made the mistake of introducing someone to DMT, and they disliked it so much they refused ever to try it again. So instead of diving into the deep end again, you can disconnect from that anxiety by dipping your toe in the jacuzzi before you dive in. This will greatly increase your enjoyment level of exploring your consciousness instead of being pushed around by the bully of past fears. You can remove the crap before you blast off by using a vape cartridge 24-48 hours before you launch. When using a vape cartridge, ensure you inhale directly into your lungs. Don’t stop your inhale in the mouth and then inhale; go directly deep into the lungs. Your body absorbs DMT and breaks it down incredibly fast.

Use the vape cartridge and stay in the ‘waiting room’. The ‘waiting room’ or ‘the bard’ is an in-between state revealing animated geometric architecture in your mind’s eye; yes, for real, this happens to everyone, even blind people see it. If you have never seen anything with your eyes closed, it’s a must. After a few hits, eyes closed, the darkness becomes illuminated, revealing another world that is always there but beyond the visible spectrum. Beautiful animated geometric designs fill your mind’s eye. Try playing some chill music to enjoy the best music ‘video’ ever! The DMT dilates your third eye to be able to view it, like how we adjust to the dark.

Inhale slowly, directly fill your lungs, hold the hit for 30-40 seconds, exhale, breathe, then repeat. This is called ‘stacking’ your hits. Stack your hits for 30-45 minutes… keep a clear focus on who you want to be and how you want to adapt. For the best result, speak your intentions out loud so you can hear them. It’s crucial not to blast off. If you’re getting close to launching, you can back off. The DMT breaks down quickly… in just seconds. You must stay in the pocket without losing consciousness because you’ll stop inhaling. The 30-45 minute treatment is so your brain has time with the medicine before it’s gone. By continuing to provide DMT, you will have more time to help your brain adapt.

Ayahuasca, an oral form of DMT has an Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor. The MAOI turns off the enzyme that breaks down DMT, so it has hours for the medicine to work; this is why it has an 85% cure rate for mental stress disorders such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addictions. It’s not magic, just great science, and we can shortcut it with micro-dosing. Since DMT from the vape cart only lasts a few minutes, by constantly administering the medicine for the 30-45 minute session, you’ll maintain an adaptive state of neuroplasticity where 95% of your neurons are active. Areas of the brain that never talk are mind fucking on their first date and making new connections that are adapting to your current reality. It’s important not to launch all the way and try to remain in the waiting room where you can be cognizant. If you’re starting to launch, remember to back off the vape pan a little. If you’re done and then want to blast off, vaping makes for an excellent pregame to freebase. So go for it.

You and I and everyone have a bunch of ongoing narratives in our minds. We ruminate, ponder, and problem-solve. It might be how to open a box of Mac & Cheese; it can also be past events like that time in the war when your friend’s head was ripped open like a box of Mac & Cheese. So every time you go for a quick and simple dinner from Kraft, you have a brief flashback. This area of the brain where we hold these thoughts is called the DMN, the Default Mode Network. It’s like your mental work desk where you problem-solve. And like a work desk, it becomes cluttered with old events that were never solved or finished. Sometimes the thing you want to solve is in the past. Regardless the desire to fix it remains. Like a break-up with a past lover, and your brain continues to think of them. Or how to escape with a drug or booze… misthinking it’s a solution, but rather something that becomes an addiction. These thoughts can hold us back and perpetuate addiction, depression, and worse.

During Neuroplasticity you can adapt to your current environment to match your intentions. If you say out loud, “I don’t want to think of that anymore.” Or “I want to remove the desire for booze” Your consciousness will listen and help your brain create new neural connections so you can form new habits. Your intentions act as a driving force that guides your new neural pathways. Like how your eyes adjust to a dark room. You can adapt. It’s why our bodies produce DMT in the first place, especially when we are children. Ever notice how children adapt to anything much easier than adults do?

Vape cartridges are diluted, some more than others. Because of this, they can be ideal for this 30-minute microdosing method. When you freebase, it’s so intense and quick that after a few hits, you’ll be lucky not to drop the hot pipe in your hand, so best to have a buddy present to help. If not, use a rag to put your hot pipe onto. Use the vape cartridge to clear your mind before you jump into freebasing. You’ll find the trips much more enjoyable. And use the vape to pregame before you smoke the yellow spice, it’s the most efficient and effective way to blast off. Vape a few solid hits first, then go to powder to launch from orbit instead of struggling to achieve escape velocity from the ground.

By vaping for 30-45 minutes and providing strong intentions of whatever you want to change about yourself, your consciousness will use those intentions as a driving force to adapt to anything you set your mind to, so you can be limitless.

DMT 101: ADAPTING to anything you set your intentions to. iMakeDMT (it's a Facebook group/project by Eric Petersen https://www.facebook.com/groups/1349323342642824/user/100000322485928/) welcomes you to explore your consciousness and self-heal your body & mind. I make DMT. You make DMT. Our bodies produce large amounts of this molecule called dimethyltryptamine, commonly known as DMT. As far as we know, DMT is seemingly in every living thing on the planet and is a powerful psychedelic, recognized as the ancestral foundation of our arts and religions.

This may seem challenging to relate to, and for me, It took me seeing it to believe it. Most of us trust ourselves to distinguish what we imagine and hallucinate from what we see, feel, and observe. To set a baseline for anyone reading this, we can mostly agree that when we close our eyes, we see the backsides of our eyelids which can seem like black empty space. However, after only one or two deep hits of DMT are inhaled, your visible spectrum is expanded beyond the normal range of what we perceive as visible light.

When you see geometry and architecture with your eyes closed, you'll immediately understand this is what all those religions were discussing. It’s 100% natural. You can even produce more DMT through holotropic breathing.

Of all the psychedelics, DMT is unique in that your body will never build a tolerance to it; that would be like building a tolerance to your own blood. It is not addictive. Ever heard of a runner’s high? That’s DMT. Are you familiar with Ayahuasca curing victims of PTSD, depression, or addiction? That’s oral DMT. Have you read stories of near-death experiences? That’s DMT. Even reports of alien abductions may have a lot to do with DMT.

Before we blamed aliens, our cultures believed that they had been abducted by fairies of lore. It can be overwhelming and even intimidating. Most often, people find themselves having to conjure their bravery to smoke it because, unlike a drug that provides an escape from your fears, DMT will force you to face your fears and adapt to your current reality.

In the next few years, you will hear more and more about people whose lives were saved by this miracle molecule. As it becomes legalized everywhere, I expect it to be hailed as the greatest medicine known to the human race. Our future is so bright. Timothy Leary once said, “Psychedelics are going to save the world” It took me most of my life to comprehend his meaning.

Instead of imagining, try to remember a tomorrow where we have millions of healthier people who aren’t suicidal from antidepressants or triggered and broken with severe PTSD. Remember a tomorrow where addiction really is just a choice. Less time in therapy, without egos, fewer insecurities, less desperation, less crime, less jail. Remember a future where more people have mental clarity, a stronger sense of confidence, and make wiser decisions for a better community.

I’m sure we all want that, and some can even imagine it. However, ‘wants’ and ‘imagining’ are for the things that haven’t happened. Remember that. The Default Mode Network is an area of the brain where we ruminate our inner narrative, sort of like a mental work desk, where we problem-solve. Sometimes events are prioritized and can remain connected, Causing us to relive those events, or relive the desire and anticipation of euphoria, once felt from an event that formed a ‘bad habit.’ Using willpower or intention alone as a driving force to quit those habits can be frustrating, resulting in disappointment. But combining intention with low amounts of psychedelics can effectively reset our brains, allowing us to adapt to anything we set our minds to.

Ayahuasca has recently become more popular in helping many people, such as our veterans, to overcome past traumas and addictions. Normally DMT only last 5-10 minutes before you're back to sober because we have an enzyme that breaks down DMT almost immediately. Otherwise, we would trip every time we ate something that was once living, like a salad.

Ayahuasca includes an inhibitor that puts that enzyme to sleep and allows the medicine to work for 6-8 hours or longer. So people going for an ayahuasca retreat weekend are getting 3-4 doses over a 30-hour period so that in just one weekend, they can essentially be cured from habits they have been stuck with by adapting to their fears instead of avoiding them.

Many who suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction can also use low doses of psychedelics like DMT, LSD, or psilocybin as an aid to reach a mental state of hyperawareness called neuroplasticity. There are also holotropic breathing techniques to achieve the same state without any substance; however quite exhausting. Regardless, when we use breathing or low doses of a psychedelic like DMT, our neurons jump from 20% active and become 98% stimulated throughout the brain, and the Default Mode Network is temporarily deactivated, forcing our brains to adapt to our current reality and environment, creating new connections so we can form new habits and break old ones.

It’s not like taking a pill and expecting to overcome addiction. If it were that easy, everyone in the 1960s who took LSD would have involuntary quit smoking and drinking. However, the guy who started AA did just that after just one session of LSD. After he stated he simply no longer desired a drink. Then the drug war kept these medicines from the public through prohibition and horrible propaganda.

Things are changing for the better today. With focus and intent, we give our consciousness permission to disconnect past events and habits and reassign them to our archives. Essentially cleaning off the work desk that cluttered our minds for too long. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Focus on your intention and remember your future self. “Imagining” is to think of something that doesn’t exist, whereas “REMEMBERING” is recalling something that you know does exist. Time is an illusion.

Everything has already happened, including you reading this right now. That other ‘better you’ is just upstream.… remember? In time, clarity will be achieved and appreciated, sometimes after only one session. People begin to notice that they’re living entire days without current thoughts being drowned out by past events, are able to live better, happier lives, and looking forward to the next moment. Finding the joy in their life of today instead of reliving traumas from the past. By not having preverbal ‘circus music’ in our heads, holding us back and enabling us to adapt to anything we set our minds to, I believe we will see far less depression, less desperation which would mean less crime, less therapy. A better future for all of us does exist…..remember? The psychedelic renaissance is upon us. See the excitement coming!

Dimitri's Ladder Protocol:

===
DIMITRI’S LADDER to inner strength.

There's more to DMT than blasting off and trying to meet aliens or machine elves. As cool as that is, there's a reason our bodies produce this miracle molecule. It's about adapting your mind and your body to what you need to survive and enjoy your life, wherever you’re at. If you limit yourself, you'll never realize your true potential. A healthy inner love for yourself shows confidence, and that can be very attractive, especially to you. Too much, and you're faking it, and it shows. You only need a teaspoon of ego. And one way to feel that is by knowing one simple, obvious thing. No matter what, all this chaos will make perfect sense someday. This simple thought can help empower you… just enough to keep moving forward. But that's more of a philosophy than anything else. Know that this IS the multiverse. You really are in it right now, and this version of you may have seen and been through some teeth-kicking bullshit that has your head spinning for decades.

Leading us from traumas to depression, maybe even addictions. Compounded with anxieties that seem to keep us in fear of what got us there in the first place. Those wounds can be the wounds that can heal you and make you stronger. We all enjoy the good times and their spoils. Even when life blesses us with happy moments, it's the pains we grow from the most. All of that struggle is fertilizer from which you're going to grow. But does it have to be so dam painful? No, it really doesn’t. And if you're someone with a mental stress disorder such as PTSD, Addiction, Depression, or Anxiety, you might want to grab a DMT vape cartridge... after you read this. You can only get to the top of the ladder by taking that first rung upwards towards that better version of yourself. Because ultimately, it is your choice. Even if you're out there and alone, you can do whatever you set your mind to.

For most of my life, that statement always sounded like something we say to encourage someone who's down. I don’t know if everyone feels the same, but I know I’m not alone in my frustration with not successfully manifesting my desired future. Because our old brains have less plasticity, DMT helps us reach an adaptive state. When we focus our intentions to adapt, we can overcome almost everything life throws at us.

There’s an alternative method with DMT that can help just about anyone adapt and overcome things like PTSD, addiction, depression, or anxiety. This method is called ‘Dimitri’s Ladder.’

Instead of launching to the moon, intentionally remain ‘grounded’ and stay cognitive and focused on your intentions of how you want to improve your life. Even speak your intentions out loud, directed to your subconscious. Say something like, “I want to remove the desire for alcohol.” for example. This heartfelt declaration, combined with low doses of DMT over an extended period, gives the medicine the time and direction it needs to affect new neural growth so that you can adapt to your current reality based on your intentions. Your thoughts literally direct how you adapt, like sunlight to a plant growing in the shade.

Use a DMT vape cartridge and take one hit. Hold it in for 20 seconds (so it can be absorbed) and continue to take one hit every minute for at least 30 minutes, all the while maintaining a mental focus on your intentions. Try this at night before bed, and the next day, when you wake up, you might have the same mental clarity I was surprised with one morning.

Psychedelics help us achieve a highly adaptive state called neuroplasticity. When we are in our teens, our brains are very flexible and have a lot of plasticity, allowing us to adapt and learn quicker and more easily. When we turn 25, our brains become more rigid, and adapting becomes more challenging as we age. When people take Ayahuasca (oral DMT), it lasts about eight hours. Usually, when visiting a retreat, they take 3 to 4 doses, so the medicine has 36 hours of neuroplasticity to work for you and how you want to adapt. But for it to work, you have to provide your intentions.

This moment is often overlooked, but whenever you go to an Ayahuasca retreat, they sit everybody in a circle and ask each person to say their name. In a few sentences, briefly explain why they came for ayahuasca. This is a vocal declaration of their intentions, and it’s effective on many levels. It allows the person to realize and focus on their objective and provides their intentions to the subconscious. Specific instructions are provided on how they want their neurons to adapt. We can use DMT in a vape pen to emulate ayahuasca to some degree, and it’s far more affordable and accessible than people realize. Just after a few DMT vape hits, you feel that euphoric warmth traverse through your entire body, and it’s at that point that we know our default mode network is temporarily deactivated. Neurons react to our intentions by helping us disconnect old habits we otherwise can't shake. They will also establish new neural connections as we adapt to our intentions. Sometimes, we even induce synesthesia and can smell colors or sea sounds. But that’s another story.

DMT helps our bodies and minds adapt. YouTube sensation Wim Hof triggers the release of his body’s natural DMT to adapt to extreme environments and situations. It's why our bodies naturally produce DMT, especially in children, so they dream more visually than adults and learn faster. This is also why Ayahuasca is so successful, with an 85% cure rate for mental stress disorders.

Those suffering from PTSD and addiction are often cured in one weekend because the oral DMT was active in their systems for 72 hours, combined with a constant focus on why they went to the retreat and spent a lot of money in the first place. When we have active DMT in our system, our neural activity jumps from 20% to 98% active. Areas of the brain that never communicate are connecting and establishing new habits based on your intentions. It's really quite awesome.
If you have a DMT vape cartridge, climb Dimitri’s Ladder for 30-60 minutes. After the first time, You can even incorporate music with your eyes closed to watch the amazing visual show behind your eyelids known as the Bard or the Waiting Room.

I hope this helps someone. It helped me.

DMT INSTRUCTIONS TO ASCEND DIMITI’s LADDER:

This isn’t a full DMT blast-off experience, but you might be cognitively swept away as you learn how to remain in that middle ground where you are “sober” and are still able to focus your intentions. Beauty is nice but can be a distraction. If you sat in a windowless room With no sound or music... That would be ideal. You're turning your focus inward, not outward. At least for your first couple of times this would be best. And to reiterate it in short, clear steps:

1. Find a comfortable, quiet, and private place where you won't be disturbed.
2. Sit up straight without leaning on anything. Focus on listening to your own breath, exhale, and inhale. It's as if you're displaying how to breathe to someone who's never tried breathing before.
3. Gratitude: continue listening to your own breathing. In short, brief statements, speak out loud and say “thank you” for 2-3 things in your life and “why” you are grateful for them. Your “why” will reaffirm your genuine gratitude.
4. Think and focus on one specific thing you want help with. Then, speak it out loud and state how you'd like to improve your life. You may even write it down (not print it out), converting your intention into a physical act. For example, writing is transformative.
5. Hold onto this thought and begin taking a long vape hit. Hold your hit for twenty seconds to be fully absorbed by your lungs.
6. After you exhale, you’ll begin to feel a bodily warmth throughout your body.
7. Remember your best self, your authentic you. Take another hit, hold it for 20 seconds, and focus on your intentions. Exhale. Take a normal breath.
8. Close your eyes and take another hit while focusing on becoming the best version of yourself. Keep your eyes shut, sit up straight, listen to your breathing, and continue hitting the vape pen every minute for the next 30 minutes or longer. If you feel you're going too deep or stopped because you got swept away in the majesty of the bard (waiting room) space, you inhale further apart or inhale less. Try to go the full 30 minutes.
9. Finally, if you’d like to stack your hits (pack in as much as you can), you can attempt to finish by “blasting off” to explore this other very real observation into this other dimension we otherwise refer to as the afterlife. However, because the vape is slightly diluted, can be challenging to obtain.
10. As you become more grounded, show gratitude and respect for the help and life you are receiving. Know that you are not alone. Feel that you are never alone. Know that you are a growing soul, and you’ll be doing this again.

===

The bottom line is making a DMT vape.
This is incredible—thank you so much! My first experiences with DMT were with a vape pen, which was much gentler. I think I’ll go back to using that next time—training wheels are going back on! There’s much to take in here, and I appreciate all the information. Thanks again!

Breakthrough is a hype. I would say that if you can name it like so, then it has little power for you. Best to be surprised with whatever you get out of it.

Also don't assume that the SSRI is dampening or doing anything to it unless you can do a with and without it test. First, if you can vouch for your spice being good then your administration technique should be the second most important thing.

Perhaps a slightly lower dose would get you to similar levels but keep you conscious enough to remember?

I'm starting to see the whole experience a little differently now. I always jump in at the deep end, but now I think this deserves much more respect, patience and taking one step at a time. Yes 100% next try will be lower dose and I'll build it up slowly; I think the spice is good, it certainly hit me like a train 😂
I like the idea of being surprised with what you get from it. It's time for a more gradual exploration. Thanks!
