it says you have to be over 21 to order from there and they have this so-called online age checker. I typed in a bugs ass name and the right birthdate and it told me my age had been verified. WTF?

It is not uncommon to have an age 'check' on sites. They just have to trust that you write in the correct date.

A lot of chemical supply stores are now selling to normal people in the US because of recent changes in the law. It has something to do with making alternate fuels at home and was part of an energy oriented bill that passed there recently.
