Your dog's reaction to you on DMT

Migrated topic.

My dog is a rescue half pitbull half jack russell , she's a great dog and I love her very much. Ah.... When I smoke around her she immediately cuddles and wants to get as close to me as possible, who knows why could be she's being supportive or she digs the vibe who knows. Anyone out there with animals how do they react to you being high on DMT??

My Siberian is the exact opposite. We both are pretty independent and he knows when I'm going to trip and kinda gives me my space. He does check on me and keeps an eye on things around the house. I live in the country so lots of wild critters. This is for DMT at least. Shrooms make me want to go outside and explore and he loves to do that anyway.

Could she be getting a resedual buzz from the DMT in the air?

After most dogs are smaller in size and weight and would need less to get high...

I have a couple of spastic rat terriers. The female is in her own little dog world and couldn't care less but the male is the sensitive type and gets concerned when I'm tripping. He knows something's up and he'll curl up in my lap, looking worried about me. A dog wanting attention from you while you're on DMT can be disconcerting :D

This has been brought up before. My opinion is that dogs chill when we are chill. They jump and run when we jump and run. Dogs are always very present and I feel they can instantly bring us into the present moment if we also react to them. They are truly man's best friend!

My doggo stays right away from me when I do DMT. But he's been my rock a few times when I've been deep in LSD and struggling to hold on. Comes and chills next to me, makes sure I am okay.

Helps somehow.

One of my favorite trip reports I've read involved a dog. The user had adopted a dog with PTSD type symptoms, and when they smoked DMT with the dog, experienced the dog's past. The dog seemed to notice the connectedness during this state, and afterward their relationship vastly improved.

Here's a link to the report. Very wholesome read.
