Yeah, using a heat gun probably isn't the smartest idea... the heating coils on these aren't meant for 'human consumption' i heard there are oxides and whatnot that come off of them which you will be inhaling. Probably will also be stuff coming out of the fan motor as well, not sure if these use a brushed motor but yeah.
