alright so SWIM pounded the bark with NOAH, split 1 pound into 2 bowls. Did the first pull with naphta on both bowls, and put it into one container out to evaporate.


Amount of naphta has gone down significantly, yet there are no crystals that have formed yet. Naphta is sort of clear with a hint of yellow. Did SWIM do something wrong?

Yes, it yields much cleaner spice to put saturated naptha in the freezer. Just put the naptha in a small container like a jellyjar and freeze for 12-24 hours (the colder, the better). Spice is bound to fall out.

My friend once evaporated the naptha completely to scrape up the residues afterwards but he was left with a blop of yellow oil which wouldn't evap any further.

So my advise is: Freeze.
