1st Experience - What's Around The Corner?

Migrated topic.

I was reading The Spirit Molecule and becoming very intrigued by the experiences that volunteers had. Reading the book in public in NYC provoked some very intriguing conversations. Just when I am thinking where would I even find something as exotic as this substance.... the book introduced me to a fellow traveler who hooked me up with some yellowish powdered spice.

Up until this point my friend and I had been exploring shrooms almost monthly for a year at Alex Grey’s Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. I had also done LSD several times back in the 80's at Dead shows. I was somewhat experienced and felt confident in exploring the world of spice.

We get a glass water pipe and bring it back to my place. We split the yellow crystals into 2 doses. I place my dose on the bowl screen of the dry pipe, placed a torch lighter to the bowl of and slowly inhale. I actually enjoyed the taste and smell of the vapor, it smelled like an exotic perfume. I filled my lugs with trepidation. Then it hit me...

A translucent, colorful sphere comprised of complex geometry appears around the water pipe in my hand, about 2' in diameter. I hand the water pipe to my friend, close my eyes and lean my head back on the couch.

There is no real launch, but I am somewhere else. To the right of me there is a console of some sort with 2 disks. The disks appear to be some kind of screens, approximately 1.5' in diameter, showing a gradation of a full spectrum of bright colour revolving clockwise.

In front of is an opening to a large room the size of a factory or warehouse which expanded around the corner to my right. As I visually explore the location my head is moving in this world, as if I have on virtual reality goggles on. Everything felt cartoonish like I was in Second Life.

I don't remember seeing anything else being there except for feeling that there was a presence and more to see around the corner. And then I returned to this world opening my eyes. I felt like I my dose was too low and as quick as this new reality appeared it disappeared. I had to go back and see more. I needed to know what was around the corner.

It was a perfect introduction The World of Spice.

YAY!!! welcome friend...you found the right place on the interweb....

we are all excited to have another fellow among us

Hey Jorkest!

Thanks for the welcome! Happy to be amongst others who have been to the spice world. Discovering the question to Life, The Universe and Everything alone can be.... well... lonesome. :)

Sounds like a nice first experience :) Do you know how long did it lasted exactly? (I've always enjoyed Sally-D for its short but insightful duration)

The experience was under 5 minutes.

I had an experience with 25x standardized Sally D. The experience was quite sinister and my ego smashed into a million shards like a broken mirror.

I have been aprehensive to do it again though I have more left.

I will definitely post that one.
