2nd Extraction

For my second extraction im gonna use ACRB again bout 500g, before was 250g. I wonder would it be a good idea to seperate it into two or three different jars to extract the pull from or jus do one big batch to get the most out of it? I know continuous pulling youll get everything buts whats the purest, quickest, whitest way i can go about this? Before it just went to a freeze percip for the first pull for 24 hrs freezing, acid ph was at 4 when boiled, and the base to transfer was about 14ph to naptha. and it came out like 98% pure (rough numb looked good to me!), jus a hair tint of yellow nothing i need to wash. Any opinions?? I would like for that to happen again! Any experience that ya have will help Thanks and safe travels! Like I said its jus my second time lol:thumb_up: :d

As far as dividing it up, it really comes down to personal preference as far as I can tell. I prefer to combine all my acid simmers and reduce the solution to a small enough volume that it will fit in one vessel. Splitting it between several extraction vessels requires a little more effort, since you have to do pulls on multiple jars rather than just one.

Just keep pulling until nothing freeze precipitates anymore. Then do another pull or two, evaporate the solvent to less than half its original volume, and try freeze precipitating again.

Which tek do you plan on using? Cyb's teks, which recommend adding salt before performing the NPS pulls, seem to make it easier to pull as much DMT as possible in fewer pulls due to the higher ionic strength of the mixture.

The color of the final product really doesn't represent the purity of the material, as is explained in this thread. But if you are really worried about the color of your DMT, read up on decolorizing with carbon on the "Recrystallization" wiki page. In my experience/opinion, recrystallization is the only way to go if purity is what you seek. Very quick, very easy, and highly effective. But decolorizing is purely aesthetic, and nine times out of ten I don't even bother with it. :thumb_up:

hey thanks ill go make a single pull witht the last tech i used it did turn out great the first time so ill just need to follow that ona bigger scail. Thanks! Ill also do a lil research to help amke my yields better, i know i need to jus dig for the info but lazyness takes over us all at some point or another lol
