So, I have noticed that lots of people like to do a/b extractions, utilizing several acid boils on the original plant material. This is to pull more alkaloids (in their salt form). This can be time consuming, messy, and pure annoying. So, instead of doing 3 boils with,say, 200ml of fresh aqueous acid solution each time, why not just do one long boil with 600ml of acid solution. This would be much more practical and less messy since there is no need to decant anything.
