DMT is not supposed to smell like that - I think your solvent has some impurities. These impurities may be highly dangerous! Please do an evaporating test on your solvent of choice before using it, to see if all traces of the solvent really disappears as it should do.

DMT has a typical indole smell, in the direction of how new shoes right from the store smells. Some may not agree on this comparison, but I think everyone agrees that DMT shouldn't smell like "a dead fat person" (however that smells... If you don't mind me asking, how do you know? :p).

Yeah, must admit my spice definitely doesn’t smell of what I imagine dead fat people smell like! Just a rather chemically smell. To me not a terrible smell, just not exactly nice either.
 
^^^ I'm sure it's in the FAQ's as well :) but just place small amount of your solvent into a glass dish, on its own. Wait for it to evaporate, if it leaves any residue, it has impurities and you almost certainly shouldn't use it. If is evap's clean, it will prob be OK. There are plenty of threads on what solvent to use in the UK if you can't find naptha (like the rest of us here!!)

There are tons of good sources of naphtha in the UK! The only issue I have found is the small size most High St-available naphtha is supplied in. I have yet to find any popular brand of lighter fuel that has given me issues. As 1664 says though there are plenty of threads here if you are unsure (suppliers section will be a good place to start).
 
The DMT experience is SO transformative and SO rewarding, it is absolutely worth taking the extra time to do it properly. Wait until that next paycheck until you can buy a good scale, a good piece of equipment for smoking. Please take the time to make sure you have 100% clean product to smoke.

DMT will take you to the very edges of your mind and change your perception of reality completely. It can dredge up POWERFUL psychological material. While in such an extremely sensitive state, you want to make absolutely sure you can give yourself over to the experience completely, without rocketing through a death-like experience where the universe melts and then having to wonder, "Am I feeling ill because my product was contaminated? How much did I smoke?"

You are preparing for one of the most amazing experiences of your life. It is a big event and an enormously loving gift to yourself! Always keep that in mind...

To be honest i dont think what you have in the bottle cap is dmt, it doesn't even look like it and if it smells like dead people then you have a serious problem.

Do a different tek next time and use different solvent and make sure you are getting your mhrb from a reputable source.
 
DMT smells different to different folks. Your pics look ok to me. Absense of effects is most likely your smoking technique and guesstimating your dose. You probably loaded a fair bit less than you imagine:)
 
That pic def needs a clean, re-x should do.

And it should smell like that, that smell is prolly coming from impureties and burning it.

Clean it and get your smoking tek sorted and ENJOY!!
 
Did you make a sandwich? You can also evap the DMT onto some herbs... the trick is to let the herbs burn and heat the spice in the process.
 
I think it was corpus calomus that almost swore by using foil, but hey, DMT deserves better than foil:)

Sandwich it takes some work, you need to pull alot of warm air through it to get it vaping.

If you still have whats left over, mix it up in there nicely and give it another try. Get a scale and if you have the ££ laying around get a VG/GVG:)
 
Ash, sorry to push this again but really.. I promiss you if you get a vaporgenie it will taste muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch smoother, and will be so much more effective. The fact that you smoked all of that in the picture and had NOTHING is really not right, the result of a correct 50g mimosa extraction should yield you at least 10 doses! While the tin foil method has worked for some ex-heroin addicts that had their method down before trying with dmt, I dont think that its actually the easiest, smoothest, most guaranteed ways for you to get an effective launch. Its really worth the investment.

Do as you please though, I just think you will really benefit from this tip :D
