<MODERATOR: removed buying/selling/sourcing>. Now from what Ive read 4-aco-dmt is active orally and it should break down to psilosin in my stomach. Now my thoughts on this conversion of 4-aco-dmt to psilosin is that it must differ from person to person since some trip reports seem to say that the substance is indistinguishable from mushrooms in effects where others say it is most like dmt or lsd or all 3. Im assuming (but could of course be wrong) that its similar to dxm freebase in regards to the fact that when some people take it their stomach has no problem converting it to hcl where as others must manually convert it to hcl before ingesting because their stomach acid just cant to the job. Am I close in my assumption? Does anyone have any experience with this and if so what is it comparable to?

I don't think the DMT-Nexus is the right place to discuss this as we focus on the classic psychedelics because they have a very well known safety profile both short and long term. Because there is so little research done to understand the pharmakinetics of these substances anything is merely speculation. According to wikipedia it's quite possible the difference is caused by psilacetin being active itself instead of merely a pro-drug, but since any hard evidence to back this is missing, it purely speculative and holds no scientific value

The difference between the substances is hard to determine. Yes, most users can't tell the difference, but is that because they're inexperienced or because for some people the trip is like mushrooms. Psychedelics are unpredictable substances and the effects can differ greatly between experiences.

Im sorry traveler I thought since I didnt mention price or the name of the source that Id be good. But it wont happen again.

And as for your comment voidtraveler I have seen 4-aco-dmt discussed numerous times on the nexus without a single negative word from mods. The substance itself does not seen to be as obscure as you make it out to be. I also have 4-methyl-aet coming along with some more 25i but as you noticed I didnt mention those because Im aware that they have no place on the nexus.

Thank you however for the other information. I guess I will know it's true nature soon enough however as it seems a trip report would be unappreciated in this environment (understandable) I guess whatever similarities it holds to other substances will just have to be reported on in another more appropriate forum.

I have tried 4-aco-dmt Its all most exactly like a mushroom trip but more euphoric its defiantly worth a try just make sure you try to stick to natural substances you never know what is in RCs or if they have adulterants or impurity's so be careful.

The safety profile of 4-AcO-DMTs currently unknown so erowid lists a heavy dose as 25+ milligrams but there are some reports of people taking 50 milligrams without injury.
Here are some safety guidelines that I use when taking RCs.
Step 1- Identify if the compound is active at sub-milligram doses if it isn't already to rule out the possibility of mislabeled bags. If you you do not have a micro gram scale use dilution dosing use this calculator: Dilution Calculator -- EndMemo
start with 100ug and work your way up to 1 milligram. Make sure take the doses on different days because you could build tolerance

step 2- if the substance isn't active at sub-milligram try taking doses in 5mg increments until you reach the threshold dose if you get effects from the threshold dose you can proceed to take the recommended low dose. ALWAYS START WITH A LOW DOSE!!! You never know how the compound will effect you.

step 3- If all goes well you can proceed to take a medium dose then a high dose.

Tips:
NEVER EYEBALL A DOSE its like playing with fire in a room filled with explosives
Erowid is a helpful site for dose recommendations and other info
you can all ways take more but you can never take less.

Yes this guide is a pain in the butt to do but it just may save your life. Always remember that you don't know what you are taking and even if you follow this guide I cannot guarantee your safety.
