5 Liters Of Lye/MHRB Solution Sitting For 3 Months

Quick question.

My last extraction was around 3 months ago, that was when i run out of my 500g of bark.
For every extraction i did, i think i split them into 100g extractions, I saved the solution.

So now i have in a petrol tank, around 5 liters of lye/MHRB solution which only has a little lighter fuel in it.
Would it be worth it to try an extraction with this solution considering it has been sitting for over 3 months, and what would be the best way going about this?
Thanks.

I think im going to buy a liter of xylene, didnt realize you could buy it in the UK, found a source.
I just hope the small amount of lighter fuel in the solution wont cause any problems while mixing with xylene.

Actually, I *would* be concerned about that small qty of Naphtha when going down any route except total evaporation. The results one reads about like: 'I had xtals but they dissolved in air-moistere as soon as they defrosted' or 'it was hard as fuck and a bitch to scrape out and not active anyways', is likely to be caused by digressions like this. Remember, chemistry on this level is basically the art of separation, and when introducing new mixtures into the equation, problems are bound to occur. However, since it sounds like that jar is going to be put away with in any other case, why not try? But don't set your hopes too high. Just my two cents.

Peace!

I don't think the lighter fluid will make any difference at all, and I think you will be quite surprised at the large yield you may get. I always use xylene after a few naptha pulls and I usually get as much from the xylene pulls as I did from the naptha pulls. In fact, sometimes I just go right to xylene....but...xylene REALLY sucks in terms of odor. You must have a safe outdoor area like an outdoor storage shed that you can use to evap the xylene. Don't use xylene indoors unless you want to get really sick, its nasty stuff.

i left a container with mimosa and lye and naptha for like 3months and i think some reactions occurred because the naphtha is not clear and there was probably about 100mg of dmt left in it if thats your situation your screwed
