I made up a batch of 5X caapi using the boiling method (9g caapi vine boiled in water, reduced and then soaked/evaporated onto 1g caapi leaf) but I forgot to filter/decant the liquid before soaking the leaf. What was 1g of aromatic olive-green leaf is now 2g of orange/red stinky leaf. Presumably, both the colour and stench are from the tannins, but is it OK to smoke as is?
