I drank the 6 grams of Enigma mushrooms prepared as a lemon tek and walked downstairs into the garden. I put on my headphones, started listening to reggae music, and sat quietly waiting for the trip to begin. The entire experience unfolded outside at first, surrounded by trees swaying gently in the wind, thick clouds drifting overhead, deep greenery, and the wide open sky above me. The atmosphere already felt peaceful, almost sacred, like nature itself was preparing me for what was coming.

As the effects slowly started coming on, I noticed the colors around me becoming richer, deeper, and unbelievably alive. The greens of the plants looked impossibly vibrant, almost glowing from within, while the sky seemed layered with depth I had never noticed before. A heavy sensation began building in my head, almost like pressure mixed with warmth, as if some invisible force or string was gently pulling me upward toward the sun itself.

Very quickly, I began feeling an intense connection with the sunlight something that felt spiritual rather than physical. Every time the sun touched my skin, waves of warmth and energy radiated through my entire body. It felt almost euphoric, like I was dissolving into pure comfort and light. For brief moments, it genuinely felt as though the sun was embracing me, melting away all tension and pulling me deeper into the experience. But whenever clouds drifted over and blocked the sunlight, the warmth disappeared instantly and I would begin shivering from the cold. That contrast between heat and cold became unbelievably emotional and surreal, almost like the sky itself was communicating with me through sensation.

As the intensity kept building, the visuals became overwhelming. The world around me started breathing, melting, and shifting in impossible ways. Trees stretched and warped softly at the edges while the clouds flowed across the sky like giant living paintings. The grass beneath me looked as if it was moving in waves, synchronized with the music in my headphones. Everything around me carried this strange feeling of intelligence and presence.

Then came the moment that completely changed the entire trip.

I looked up at the sky. It was heavily clouded, dark and layered, but suddenly an opening appeared directly above me and the sun broke through. It didn’t feel like I was simply watching sunlight anymore it felt alive. The light expanded outward from the sky toward the earth, forming an enormous glowing circle that seemed to descend directly onto me. It completely swallowed my vision and surrounded my entire body. The experience became so powerful and overwhelming that I instinctively closed my eyes.

The moment I did, I entered what felt like full hyperspace.

It instantly reminded me of DMT not identical to pure DMT, but carrying the same impossible feeling of entering somewhere beyond normal reality. It was gentler and more emotionally fluid, but it had the same tunnel-like movement, rapidly morphing geometric patterns, impossible colors, rotating vortexes, and strange faces appearing within the visuals. Everything flowed with unbelievable speed and complexity while still feeling strangely welcoming.

Before entering that state, the experience had also become psychologically intense in a deeply therapeutic way. Thoughts and emotions I normally avoid began surfacing naturally. It felt as though the mushrooms or some higher presence connected to the sun itself were guiding me through different parts of my life, forcing me to confront personal problems, fears, habits, and emotions while simultaneously showing me ways I could improve myself. It never felt judgmental. Instead, it felt ancient, intelligent, and strangely compassionate, like being taught lessons without words.

The closed eye visuals lasted around an hour to an hour and a half and became unbelievably immersive. Endless waves of color folded into themselves while rotating tunnels stretched infinitely into the distance. Complex geometric structures constantly rebuilt themselves into new forms. At times it felt like I was traveling through living hyperspace environments made entirely from light and energy. Some areas looked mechanical and alien, while others felt organic and spiritual, almost like temples built from pure color and motion. The visuals felt alive, intelligent, and aware of my presence.

Even though the intensity was extreme, I wasn’t truly afraid. Having previous experience with DMT on the eMesh seemed to prepare me mentally for that level of intensity. Instead of fighting the experience or panicking, I allowed myself to surrender completely to it and simply accepted whatever came.

Eventually, I became extremely cold from being outside, so I went back inside and laid down in bed. The trip continued for another hour or so, but the energy shifted into a completely different phase. A strange erotic theme started emerging throughout the experience, making me feel extremely horny while also causing me to question a lot of things psychologically and emotionally. It almost felt like the mushroom spirits were playfully messing with me, teasing and provoking certain thoughts and sensations just to see how I would react. The experience became less cosmic and more personal during this stage intimate, weird, confusing, but still oddly fascinating.

As time passed, the intensity slowly softened. The visuals became less colorful and less immersive as the peak faded away. The hyperspace feeling gradually dissolved into a more traditional mushroom state filled with introspection, emotional warmth, and lingering visual distortions before finally calming down completely.

In total, the experience lasted around three to four hours, although the peak itself felt completely timeless, as if normal reality and the concept of time had stopped existing for a while. It was one of the most intense mushroom experiences I’ve ever had deeply visual, spiritual, emotional, introspective, and strangely comforting all at once. Rather than fear, the overwhelming feeling throughout the journey was curiosity, connection, surrender, and acceptance.

Quite a journey, plus bonus crafty w4nk by the sounds of it. haha

I think its good to know how you cope with doing everyday tasks while in altered states, a full range of tasks is recommended.

Hahaha yeah the mushrooms added some unexpected content near the end 😂 At the peak I was basically in mild hyperspace though, so everyday tasks would’ve been impossible.
