A friend brought this to my attention yesterday and i found it very moving..it's still so relevant 70+ years later (and slightly disturbing/amusing seeing hitler as orator :lol: ) aaahhh if only he could have had that attitude

Its amazing how timeless and still relevant today that this speech is;I dunno if I fully agree with the 'unite in the name of democracy' bit though.Surely mankind should be able to find a higher ideal than democracy to unite upon?:idea:

yeah i agree. there's some things which could be said much differently in regards to what we now know the world could be like..but still, great speech regardless. some cactus was just starting to open my heart when a friend insisted i watch it. so needless to say, 2:30 really struck home 8)

thank you for sharing this wonderful speech UC! it was very inspirational..esp at 2:30 like you mentioned. It made me wanna contribute more to the world, by becoming something more myself...so i went to the lake nearby, and ran 2 miles so that i can become..stronger..

i literally just ran a mile and a half 20 minutes ago!(first time running in weeks!) :shock: i've been doing other exercises, but i really should run more

haha!! what a funny 'coincidence'!! its good that you also run and workout. i'm gonna join the gym today or tmrw, so i'll start working out as well:d hehe go run the 0.5miles:lol:
