Some very filthy rodent told ILPT that he can obtain pure a-MT, as it`s legal where he live.

ILPT couldn`t find much info and tihkal comments are both positive and negative

Does any SWIMer found this to be a nice stuff ? How about toxicity ?

DOSAGE : 15 - 30 mg, orally; 5 - 20, smoking

DURATION : 12 - 16 hrs

QUALITATIVE COMMENTS : (with 15 mg, orally) "I got a strong psychedelic experience that lasted about twelve hours, but an unexpected relief from my chronic depression that lasted for four days."

(with 20 mg, orally) "Nothing happened for three hours -- I thought I had drawn a blank. Then I became a little uncomfortable, restless, this delayed action is new to me. I feel completely washed out, exhausted. And I had a hang-over the next morning."

(with 30 mg, orally) "It felt a little like speed, strong speed. Yet I found myself yawning and in sort of a dreaminess state and quite lethargic. It lasted a long time."

(with 30 mg, orally) "Effects were first noted in just over an hour, a general numbness and a mild loss of motor coordination. This all became more pronounced over the next half hour, but my thoughts remained clear. A hand tremor and jaw tightness persisted throughout the experience. Music was OK but I didn't really connect with it. I went back to my room to watch the distinctive waves of a soft red/orange visuals They were similar to colors of LSD. It gradually increased to a level of intensity similar to perhaps 0.5 - 1.0 g P. cubensis, and after several more hours it was clear that I had reached the plateau. Feeling fairly tired and ready for bed, I decided to call it a night. Quite to my surprise, when I awoke four hours later I was at the same level as when I went to sleep. Gradually over the next day I returned to baseline and I was left feeling quite euphoric with a pleasant afterglow."

A friend told me he loved it. The colors were what he remembered the most. He said he could smell colors and vice versa. He described the peak to be something similar to the "beavis and butthead" peyote trip, without all the negativity. Je said it was very colorful and long-lasting. That's the most I got out of it. He said it was like a beefed up mescaline.

swim went through a gram of amt via various administration methods, and got nothing resembling a classic hallucinogen.

I thought AMT was more of a releasing agent, such as MDMA and the family, than a classic hallucinogen? My impression is that it is able to cause hallucinations in higher doses, but that the intensity never goes through the roof. I wouldn't take what TiHKAL has to say on the subject as truth, both books from Shulgin is known to have a rather large number of weird comments.

Ive heard AMT sucks. I had it offered to me beofore and Im glad I said no. Everyone said its like being on speed and acid sort of..but not the good side of acid..

Swim said "put 25mg in water to and gave it to the plants.

2+ plus 2 drags on smoke head space changes. Walk from one spot to another.

3+ Getting more noticable effects. more talk, sense of good feeling, like mdma. The chat is good and like on md, but not loved up chat, friendly joyful etc.

4+ More psyche effects comin through while smoking in dark over look through woods at night, that quiet before the storm feeling also. Begin to walk home. cant concerntrate on walking or rolling

Time memorey becomes akward to figure now

4.30 - 5+ get in, sit down and then rushing begins, with this feeling of it starting to go in to some trip, but it was like the mind then become blank. IT would all become intense then go blank, not any OEVs, but some CEVS of some sort, squares spinining. Music was enhanced and dancing would of been good.

One also had a bit of an anxitey problem at the begining that did make it feel abit more akward, and was probally because of the unexpected changes in preception.

From this part that warm fuzz explosion feeling was felt from inside till around 7-8+ hours from beginning of the start of this post. When swim looked at a screen all the things just shaked like hell.

However swim did feel as if his heart beat was uncomfatable, with a fair amount of sweating. again maybe anxeity.

In all, swims next would be to hypothetical test only small amount and find a comftable spot. Abit like mesc but that syntheic quality apparent, and also a comedown was attached to it the next day. It takes a while to kick in and may be neuro toxic.

It was like tripping and rushing??????? sorry is only simple brief way to explain with swims limited vocab.
