Acacia Confusa and Syrian Rue FIRST TIME NEED HELP

Last night REMOVED of 50 grams fresh unprocessed Acacia Confusa Root Bark along with 4 ounces of Syrian Rue seeds.
This is my first time attempting to brew Ayahuasca and I am not sure of the dose I should use and how to prepare Acacia Confusa.

I consider myself sensitive to psychedelic substances and I weigh 160 lbs.

I would like to "test the waters" first, but I also want enough left over to really experience the true power of these plants.

I read that 3 grams would be a good dose of Syrian Rue for MAOI effects.
I am unsure of how much Acacia Confusa Root Bark to use.
With an alkaloid content of %2.85 (half being DMT half NMT)
So %1.42 DMT?
50/100 = 0.5
1.42 * 0.5 = 0.71g DMT in 50 grams of Root Bark?

It is early in the morning and I am excited so please excuse the confusion.
I plan on taking it tomorrow in the afternoon in the woods.

Should I pulverize the root bark? How much should I use for a first time?
Sorry if this has been answered else where. All help is appreciated!

Also on a side note, I received 50 HBWR seeds and 1 ounce of Amanita Caps
Should I use them before I dive into Ayahuasca?

In my experience, 5 grams of ACRB should be enough if you just want to test the waters. Don't underestimate the power of acacia. I took 5 grams my first time and it was very intense. 3 grams of rue, for me, sufficiently inhibits mao.

Have you ever done oral DMT? If not I would say to just brew the acacia and rue, once you see what that's like, then start adding other admixtures. I've never combined lsa with the brew, although I plan to at some point. Never tried amanita.

Acacia brews are very intense. It seems that it can get infinately more intense the more you drink, that is, there doesn't seem to be a ceiling to the effects. So I would just start with 5 grams if I were you, def no more than 7 at the most. 10 would be too much ime.

Also realize that the rue isn't just to activate dmt. In the amazon they consider caapi to be the most important part. Adding more rue changes the experience. Have you taken rue alone? IMO it is psychedelic.

As far as whether or not to pulverize the root bark, I get mine shredded and it works fine like that. I've never tried powered. Btw, the above ground bark of acacia confusa is also effective in my experience.

I am a complete newbie to DMT.
I wasn't considering adding admixtures I was just debating on whether to take amanitas or LSA this week to get back into the psychedelic state of mind to prepare myself for DMT (impossible I've heard)
I have gotten far with meditation and OBEs aided by HBWR seeds

I forgot to thank you for the advice on dosage and sharing your experience
Should I brew them together and drink half, then drink other half 30 minutes later (for MAO Inhibition)
Or should I brew the Syrian Rue, drink it
Then brew the Acacia Root Bark and drink it 30 minutes later
So I don't waste any DMT/NMT by doing the first option.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Also, I just sampled a 3.9g cap of A+ Amanita Muscaria simmered in a cup of water.

I've taken a few different ways. At first I would crush 3 grams of rue, put it in capsules, eat, then drink the acacia brew 30 or 40 min later. This works well and has the advantage of you not having to taste the rue.

You could brew both separately and drink the rue brew followed by the acacia 30 min later.

Or you can brew them together, or brew seperately, then combine the brews and drink together.


They all work but I've found subjective differences in the effects between these methods.


Basically trail and error is the name of the game, so trust your intuition, experiment and you'll find the sweet spot.

And remember to trust the plants and don't fight it. Letting go is key

If not, I forgot to mention the egg white step. Idk your thoughts on the purge, but the egg white def cuts down on the body load/ nausea/ punge.
