Well, Lemon Balm is a nice herbal relaxant, people can make tea with it, it has some good properties it seems for sure. It contains flavonoids which apparently have been shown to posses MAO-I like effects, it also contains Eugenol which is also said to have MAO-I like effects, and according to a study in some journal, the Journal of Student Research it was called, said it contained Harmine, but didn't give any details as to the percentage, and others that have seen the article say they doubt it contains Harmine and that the Journal of Student Research may not be a reliable source... But it's worth noting imo.
Effects wise though, as i smoked it a good few times, i could def. tell i was more relaxed than usual most likely due to the Lemon Balm's GABA inhibiting properties, the pre-flight jitters/anxiety wasn't really there so that was good, my feet and hands went a little numb and the DMT seemed to be potentiated a good bit, especially with 12 grams of Lemon Balm it was potentiated as much as i think Caapi leaf potentiates the DMT, perhaps maybe even a little more. Also something weird, it seemed to be more visual for me, which was kinda a first because for me DMT isn't really about visuals as i rarely get them, i mostly get feelings and perceptual shifts and mood lifts, energy/personality boost, etc., but it's never really been visual for me. It could be the Acacia was for some reason more visual than the Mimosa, both smoked and orally, has ever been. So if the increase in visuals was due to the Lemon Balm, i really have no idea until i make my next couple of batches with both Mimosa and Acacia and compare notes to see if the Mimosa is anywhere near as visual for me as the Acacia is, with the Lemon Balm. Also going to try making a strong Lemon Balm tea, wait for it to kick in and then smoke some Changa.
