After I perform a extraction (acid to base hybrid salt tek) with acacia confusa my dmt always comes out nice and white. especially after I re-x a couple of times there seems to be little to no NMT . Why are people willing to pay so much more for mimosa? Is it worth the extra money and risk?

My friend uses the same tek (but doesn't freeze precip) and always ends up with goo. When using MHRB he always gets yellow xtals.

He thinks pound for pound there's more DMT in MH vs AC, maybe that's one reason people prefer it. It also produces nice xtals / powder without a freeze precip.

My friend has no preference though as to which bark he uses, they're both great as far as he's concerned. :-)

the root of the acacia contains 1.15% NN DMT and mimosa contains around 1% DMT. I have extracted from acacia around 20 times and have never ended up with goo. I'm not trying to be mean but your friend probably doesn't have his tek down very well.

Yeah, he's time pressed / lazy and doesn't do the freeze precip. I suspect that makes all the difference where xtals are concerned. He doesn't care, the goo is more or less exactly the same in effect.

I think the alkaloid content can be very variable. Certainly, whenever I've done side by side TLC tests on his product, for equivalent weights MH has always had more DMT and less NMT than AC. See the pic below:

Exactly same extract tek used (although col 1 used a different solvent to cols 2 & 3). 5mgs of each substance. The MHRB (in this instance at least) seems to have more DMT / less NMT than the AC. This is more or less inline with all the extracts he's done and I've tested for him.

I think the key 2 getting white acacia is a defat, freeze precipitation, followed by 2 re-x steps. If you do those things your acacia will have no yellow and be completely white. I'm sure I still have a little NMT but it's nothing you would notice ( I think haha).
