ive done over 20 extractions now and neveer have i had this happen. after i did my first pull, i went to pour the naphtha back in my soup, and the soup had turned from black liquid to black jello type matter. anyone know whats up ? is it ruined or can i fix it?

it can happen if the solution was warm when pulling and it cooled in the meantime.

there are other factors in the whole process that contribute for that to happen .

add a little more water and warm the solution again.

if you bought bark powdered it could have a small amount of contaminant that could make it gel i have found vendors before that would mix a small amount of (maltodextrin)anti caking agent or simular..might cause known things ..one of these unknown items could potentially gel
