Acacia pennata?

Migrated topic.

Where I live in South East Asia you can buy this plant everywhere. We can easily find organic Acacia pennata in some supermarkets as its often used in local dishes here. I googled it but couldn't find any information if it is usable for DMT extraction. Any information would be fantastic!

Here is some more info from this study where the plant is listed as suspected to contain spice:

The identity of Acaciol as actually being α-
spinasterol and not a pentacyclic triterpene alcohol (as
proposed by Farooq et al.) is suggested by Sengupta
and Chakraborty, based on its reported properties as
compared with the α-spinasterol they reported to have
isolated from Acacia pennata.
Sengupta & Chakraborty (1966)

The study linked above also references a study about the plant I wasnt able to find online. Maybe someone with access to university networks could try checking it out?

Sengupta, Pasupati & Arun Kumar Chakraborty (1966)
Journal of the Indian Chemical Society 43 (3):
191-193. “Terpenoids and Related Compounds. Part
VIII. Acacia pennata bark.”

..thanks for that info..i think i mentioned on p49 of Trying to Improve Acacia info that the leaves of A. pennata were used in food..there are no reports of dmt in the species..if it had a high tryptamine content it would usually be quite bitter and therefore not so palatable in dishes..but whether it's actually been tested for alkaloids i don't know..

and here you are 😁

I am eating Cha-om leaves here in Thailand (Acacia pennata). I get high from a small handful. If i take that amount after a few grams of syrian rue it feels very similar to 1g acacia confusa root bark. High in NMT feeling and super nice. I asked locals and they said they eat it with eggs and they also get a bit high from it. No wonder Thailand is such a happy chill country.

I mix my ayahuasca plants with dark chocolate and eat them raw. No nausea
And tastes grea also mixing into dark choco yogurt for mega parasite cleanse.
