Acetate to Freebase Conversion

I think I've roundabout asked this a few times but haven't recieved a legitimate answer...

I am salting xylene with vinegar for jimjam. Can I use Calcium Hydroxide (mixed in with the vinegar) and then do an acetone pull to get freebase again?

Some places claim when the vinegar is dry, I have obtained freebase....is this true? Id assume since its DMT acetate, when it dries it remains dmt-acetate.

well...I'm interested in this as well...

I have salted my toluene pulls with vinegar - how do I convert to full spectrum freebase? Is having either dry acetone or dry IPA a must?
I know how to get the spice out of it, but I don't know about the other alkaloids that are hopefully in there...
